Shareholder Profile

Türk Telekom regularly conducts shareholder identification studies. These studies help to analyze the shareholder base and ownership changes from one period to another. The free-float shareholders include institutional investors and retail investors.

According to the latest study conducted by an independent service provider in July 2022, Türk Telekom had around 110 institutional investors worldwide. The survey revealed that “Value-Oriented Investors” constituted the majority of the investor base. In addition to the “Value-Oriented Investors”, “Index”, “Growth” and “GARP” are among the investment styles with a high share in the distribution.

Türk Telekom’s institutional investor base is composed of funds based mostly in the America (31%), Europe (28%) and the UK and Ireland (17%). In addition, a large number of funds from different regions in the world (Japan, Singapore, etc.), as well as investors in Turkey, are among the investors.​
